My Story

Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I spent over 7 years working in veterinary medicine before starting Sunshine Pets. Originally from San Diego, I moved to Hawaiʻi in 2015 with my husband, who was born and raised here, and together we’ve made Kailua our home. My veterinary background gave me not only medical knowledge, but also a deep understanding of the care and attention pets need to thrive. Sunshine Pets grew out of my love for animals and my desire to serve the Windward Oʻahu community by providing trustworthy, reliable care. Whether it’s daily walks, quick check-ins, or overnight sitting, my goal is to give families peace of mind knowing their pets are cared for like my own.
